Effective: May 19, 2025 · Last Updated: May 19, 2025
HomeEase LLC ("HomeEase") is committed to ensuring that our website, athomeease.com, is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to comply with applicable accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
1. Our Commitment
We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information and services. HomeEase is an active member of the Utah County community, and we are committed to serving all homeowners — regardless of ability. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our website and services.
2. Measures We Have Taken
HomeEase has taken the following steps to improve the accessibility of our website:
- Designed with semantic HTML5 elements to support screen readers and assistive technologies
- Provided descriptive
alttext for all meaningful images and icons - Ensured sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background colors
- Implemented visible keyboard focus indicators for all interactive elements
- Designed all interactive elements to be reachable and operable via keyboard navigation
- Used ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) labels and roles where appropriate
- Ensured that form fields include descriptive labels and error messages
- Designed the site to be responsive and usable on mobile devices and assistive technologies
- Avoided content that flashes more than three times per second (seizure risk)
3. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known limitations include:
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g., maps, analytics scripts) may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are working with our vendors to address these issues.
- PDF documents, if any are linked from our site, may not be fully accessible. We will provide accessible alternatives upon request.
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve our overall accessibility posture.
4. Feedback & Contact
